It probably would be easier to list what is not in demand. 9MM, 40 S&W, 223 are everywhere. You can't give 270's and 7MM Magnum away! Most others can be sold or traded.

After going through several shortages, not just the last one, I save nearly everything. I plan for my surviving family having brass, powder, primers, loaded ammo and lead to deal with when I'm gone. I started a few years ago trying to organize my stash so that it would be easier to deal with. Brass is sorted and in marked containers. Powder and primers are marked with the purchase dates. Loaded ammo is labeled as to load. Yeah, my place may be on a TV show someday!

I've been collecting .270 for a new project. Haven't seen any at the range the last couple of times out, but it does seem that most guys that shoot it don't reload. I would still like to have more, though.

You think .270 is hard to find. In my area I have been collecting 303 British for years and still only have 5 cases. Gun show after gun show they want 30-40 bucks for a half a box. Never do I see any empties. I comb the shelves at gun shops and shows with no results. When I do see some posted here they are gone.

Funny thing is I didnt even know they made a stripper clip for the 303 until BrassMagnet told me so on the phone. Been keeping my eye out for them now as well. Everything takes time.

I do not have one but I just remembered that 300 savage is rare to see also. Not in high demand.

For me I have a hard time finding 303 Savage. I usually have to pay high prices at Gunbroker for them. I think I've stocked up for now...but I'm always looking for more if the price is right on S&S or PIF is offered.

Luckily my local range sees a lot of youngsters that like to shoot the hell out of their ARs and they like to shoot good stuff so 5.56 LC is all over the place. I have a hard time finding 45 LC, and I'm about to need 6.5 Grendel, but after the build I'll be out of cash for a while!

    I could always use
    22 Hornet
    10 MM
    38 Super
    30/40 Krag
    300 WM
    338 WM
    45 ACP

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

I really don't need any but 218 Bee always sparks my interest depending on price. Also it is nice to find cheap 45ACP since I am losing more than I find.

.577 Snider, .577-450 Martini Henry, .310 Cadet and .41 Colt are at the top of my list. 7x57 Mauser, 8x56R Mannlicher, .30-40 Krag, .303 British, and .38 Super next in line.
