Update on Us May 2018

Well in April the wife and I passed the 20th anniversary. Why she ain't kilt me with a fryin' pan yet I'll never know. My vision is getting worse, so are my hands. PTSD is much worse, so is my depression. On the up side she is doing better. Doctors have her down to one cancer med a day, and depending on the next chemo run and tests there is a chance she will get down to one treatment a month, maybe even less. Doctors say they have never seen such a positive response to treatment in a patient, ever.

Thank so much to everybody who has prayed for us, sent positive thoughts our way, and helped out with the gofundme for her. Without all of ya'll we never woulda made it this far.

Good Lord willin' and the creeks don't rise; she'll keep gettin' better and better.

Well, Richard, I gotta say aging sucks, but on the other hand the power of prayer is so strong it's plumb scary. I'll just hafta slip in a couple extra for you so you can catch up. I can say from personal experience that when you pair up with the right one that even when life is rough it's still a blessing. I was married to a red haired east Texas gal whose daddy reached for a gun when I told him I was gonna marry his daughter, a nickel plated Colt .38 Super. When I didn't run he said "well I guess you'll do." Lasted 44 years. Take care of her and we'll take care of the praying. GW

Richard, prayers here continue. Both for your wife and for your conditions. I have arthritis in my hips badly, wife has arthritis in her shoulder, but after almost 43 years together we are doing as well as can be expected. God is good no matter what is happening, His plan is better than anything I can imagine.
