    Another what are they???

Saw this add "Reloading Things - UNKOWN Parts - Do you know HOW they are used? Part of a scale and powder measurer and what are the other things for? Do you know - Can you use? Must buy ALL"
Curious, I recognize the powder measure and possibly the base of a scale but the rest????????????

Top with red is a shot/powder charge bar.
Left is the bottom of a powder measure, without hopper tube.
Next with the helical may possibly be automotive or industrial. Makes me thing of a starter drive. Transmission part possibly???
Lower right is a Redding scale base.
The last piece is totally foreign to my eyes.

Thanks for the fun challenge, I always like these.

The last thing reminds me of tools used in connection with drive chains ( splitting motorcycle chains)?

I agree, mixture of reloading and automotive/motorcycle parts/tools.

The shaft in the center of the picture has fine splines on one end and a helical cut gear (maybe even worm drive) on the other end.
Not sure what the application would be but I'm pretty sure it isn't firearm related.

The splined shaft looks like kick start shaft for a motorcycle.

Yep, I'd say somebody's leftover reloading and motorcycle odds and ends got thrown into a box of miscellaneous parts to confuse the unwary.

/\ Yep, I'll buy that. The end with the fine splines has a grove in the center of the splined section that could accommodate a bolt on the kick start lever. The helical cuts on the other end could be some type of Bendix drive to engage the shaft to the engine.

So, how much were they asking for this treasure trove of ammunition reloading tools?

I kept looking at it and thinking ...I have one of those...but can't remember what it is. Been a long time since I replaced a chain ...My last bike was a Kawasaki Mach III , triple cylinder two stroke , a beast that had more horsepower than the car I drove. It ate chains.

Kwaka 3? You're showing your age! They were scary bikes indeed (I had a Suzuki Cobra at that time, 500cc twin 2-stroke, that was a handful for me).

    I remember the triple 2-stokes ! They (literally) smoked Honda CB750's !
    They were deceptively quick.

I would not pay $20.00 for that. I think you made a good call.

I don't and never will. The only thing I have with a chain is a saw and garage door operators, I have several operating powder measures and do not load shot shells. That's 20 bucks that can go towards good booze.

Great bike, I had the 850R , same basic engine with a shorter stroke crank.
