I post this link to my "perfect" buckshot that might be helpful to someone. I came to this mostly by luck with my usual hard head. I loaded scores of combos, some of which you can only imagine. I couldn't tell you why it works, but Rmc summed it nicely in his post #22. So this is not a revelation, just a combination that works. Two comments from that article: Different guns may pattern differently. And some loads move windage at distance. The second pic at 62 yds show my pattern moved to the right and I figure I yanked it, but maybe not. FWIW a couple of my good ole hunting buddies shot this in their guns and were wowwed too. They were average performers out of a 3 1/2" chambered gun though. All full chokes.
