    MiHec 502-383

Finally got to play with the big 3 cav 500 !

With my alloy, had to run pot 25-50 deg hotter - mould happy with pot about 775 deg.

    HP's about 380g, solid about 390.

Little ole 45-200 hp on left; 50-325 j word on right for perspective

Gunslinger, I take it this is the recent group buy? If so, my solid also came out at 390 grs. but haven't tried the hollow points yet.

Hi Don, Yes recent group buy. These look great for my 50ae, 50 Beo, 500 Smith.

Haha, kept getting wrinkles, thought I wasn't getting it clean, as said above, a little more heat and no worries !

I have each of the pins in the mould - how convenient, 3 cavity's, 3 diff nose pins !

I just put in the flat nose but will try what you did and try them all at one time. Would like to get the 3.5 inch S&W .500 for these and the JR Alley Cleaner.

Is there any load data for these that would work in the 50AE? I thought it might be a bit long.

Echd, don't know about the AE, about all I ever found was data for 325-350g. I'll have to look for the old data I used for my 50ae Blackhawk - maybe more forgiving than an Eagle ?

Boolet is 0.787" oal. 0.405" base to crimp groove. If that helps ?
