    Group Buy PID - CLOSED

Group buy special on the PID setups that I sell.
There will be a min commitment of 10 units with a max of 30 units

Units will be my standard unit.
Standard unit is 120v with a non-detachable 4 inch TC
The TC will be rated for 600C (over 1100F)

You can see the unit in my S&S thread -> http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...D-setup-UPDATE!

The standard pricing is $125 shipped.
On this group buy it will be $105 shipped anywhere a flat rate box goes.
For international members, I will sell the unit for $100 plus exact USPS shipping.

This is a $20 savings over normal pricing.
If you purchase more then one unit then the 2+ unit cost is $100.
So 2 units will cost you $205.

Once active it will run until a 2 weeks after we have reached 10 units
I am ordering ten enclosures now so it will take at least 30 days for them to arrive.
I have the TCs in stock and the PID/SSR come from a US supplier so I can get them quickly.
There will be a delay in shipping as I am awaiting parts.

I forgot to mention. PayPal or USPS money order or cash is good too
Current total 30 remaining slots 0

Hate to ask a rookie question...But is this why some casters Boolits look so perfect and uniform in the photos? Why would I really need this? Short version.

    INTERESTED...

That is really for another thread but since it is partially sales related I will answer it in this one.

How to cast a perfect boolit every time

    (1) good quality CLEAN mold - I use brake cleaner to de-grease my mold. When i am finished casting I coat the mold with synthetic 2 cycle oil. prevents rust or corrosion.
    (2) consistent lead alloy - if you are using whatever lead you can get your hands on it will not cast perfect each casting session.
    (3) steady lead temp - keep the lead at a certain temp will help with the next one.
    (4) consistent rhythm - get in a cycle if casting by hand. Something like - fill mold, count to 3, dump boolits, 1 count, repeat.

The alloy you use controls fillout and the finished weight of the boolit.
Its been a while since I have cast by hand but I do machine cast using a automated Master Caster.
The method applies to machine casting as well.

yes. You will need to use a piece of wire or make a small bracket that will hold the probe using one of the screws on the top of the pot.
