Looking at the timeline (and pics of the destroyed cherry), this might not be the best time to request new and/or extra features in a group buy.

Huntin' season is almost here.

our rifle season starts in 6 weeks and is only 6 weeks long.
Was in first group buy for a year now 2 more years and still no mold
the wait is killing me

Im thinking that he will have to make the lube groove shallower to make the cherry stronger. But it feels good to know hes working on it. Based on the demand...I think this will quickly become a stocked mold.

I signed up for the Hitek (no lube groove) version. Seems like that one should have the strongest cherry.

Has that one been attempted yet?

Dont see that one having a problem at all.... Im sure he will update us on the progress when the new cherry comes in.

I’m not complaining or whining but this is too ironic not to share. When I bought my suppressor for my 30 cal this group buy came up a couple weeks later so of course it was great timing. Well when I bought my suppressor the fellow who makes them his lathe went down for almost 6 months, after that he made and sent my suppressor and the wait began, well I decided to leave the military and move back to Tx to peruse college. Well it took 2 months for the ATF to cancel the form 4 and refund me the money, the fellow in Georgia where I was stationed mailed it to a shop here and I started the process over again. I got a call yesterday that my form 4 came through and I could pick it up lol. I guess what I’m saying is that group buys are damn slow lol!

Just wondering what the chances would be of completing this buy as a slick sided powder/Hi Tec coated only mold?

My original order was for a traditional lube, four hole, HP with no GC, but I'd probably end up powder coating 'em anyway.

After seeing Miha's photos of destroyed cherries, I'd be willing to change my order to a slick side if it'd allow him to complete the order faster.
Any support for this idea, or am I alone on this one?

I'm all for the idea for a slick sided only mold. I am only interested in a no lube groove mold anyways.
