    Let’s do some math

So I’ve been working out how to get the alloy I’m looking for, I came up with this:

    490.6 Oz COWW alloy
    16 Oz R92 from rotometals

This combo from my math gives me the following:

    92.97% Pb
    3.1% Sb
    3.8% Sn

Does that calculate right to y’all? I stole the WW data from another post and the R92 data from roto’s website. If I remember reading right that should come out to roughly 11-16 on the hardness scale.

according to the alloy calculator found on this site, 93.2 Pb, 3.41 Sn & 3.09 Sb

And you are right! Al little dab of this and a little dab of that in my casting pot gets me to my target hardness of 10-12. don't sweat the decimals!!!!!!!!

That + PC gives me perfect shooting boolits every time.

Then they added imaginary numbers and weird symbols and calculus was born...

In 8th grade, on my second try at passing Introduction To Algebra, the teacher told me '...you're going to use math every day in life. You need to get a handle on it.'
I was absolutely certain he was lying.

    Turns out he wasn't.

    I still hate him.

    i never got algebra .

the shear concept of a + b = 27 does not make sense.

There ya go bringing political correctness into it!
It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years (Abe Lincoln)

"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.” George Washington
