    your best High Standard gunsmith?

I bought an HD military some years ago that was in near perfect shape, but had a rust bloom inside that bound tht sear disconnector. previous owner must have got some rain in there.

anyway, i took it apart for cleaning over a year ago, and was ill for awhile, so didn't get to it fresh. now would like to have someone more familiar with High Standard pistols put it back together. it's built like a swiss watch, adn in much too nice condition to go wrong with.

any recommendations for a smith experienced with high standard pistols?

    thanks.

Test worked but be aware there is a "test" section up in the "General" area of the forum.

Many years back bought a HS Victor from a friend.
Few weeks later saw a 22 short conversion unit in LGS.($200)
Lost those to a friend who shoots much better than I do.
She wanted me to teach her how to shoot-had her and another friend attend real shooting classes.
BOTH of them were outstanding shots.
Only downside is cost of short ammunition.
Well, that and fact I no longer own, only feed them!

decided that i am the best high standard gunsmith that i can find. found an exploded parts diagram in a gun digest pdf of handguns book that i had forgotten about. i should be able to handle putting a pistol together with one. i put helicopter engine fuel controls together that way.

    FAL magazines...
