Try 9 grains of blue dot. I shoot this in most of my military rifles with good accuracy. Had my Mas 36 out and was shooting 9 grains of blue dot with the 311291 as cast.
4 shots went into an inch with one out opening the group to 2" .
Shooting at 100 yards. The trigger pull is somewhere North of 11 lbs. Bought a m1 carbine spring and going to cut it to bring down the pull some.

I've been shooting the Lee 312 100 grain boolit for my 7.7 Jap which is similar to the 303 Brit. It works great over 5.5 grains of Bullseye out to 50 yds. Even works on 30-06 for plinking fun. I worked down to 2 grains but got nervous about getting a squib and accuracy went away. Tried 1.5 grains of Bullseye under a 00 buckshot just for hoots and hollars but couldn't hit anything past 10 yds with that load, still was fun to try though.
