    CLOSED - 41 MP Mold 413-265-WNFP

This is a heavy .41 caliber with all sorts of potential and versatility. Nose to crimp on this big bad boy is .430" so it should be perfect for the Ruger Blackhawks and Redhawks, I will measure my Smith shortly and get on here and edit that one in. As drawn it shows a Large, Medium, and cup Hollowpoints and of course a Solid Pin option. Gas Check and Plain base options as well as 2 or 4 cavity molds will be available. I can remember shooting a similar cast bullet at a rock at a bit over 600 yards with some friends. It is difficult to explain without having had you there to see, but this style shoots flatter, bucks the wind better, and gets there with a serious WHOP than most of the other sixgun calibers we were shooting that windy day.

As always, to sign up, we need your DISGUISED email address like this: sixgunman AT anynet DOT com
We also need to know 2 or 4 cavity, GC or Plain Base preference.
Invoice is via Email and payment is via Pay Pal.
Miha will set the prices when the time comes.
This mold is being run elsewhere so SIGN UP as it will likely close abruptly.

Large HP = - 17 gr. off bullet weight
Med HP = - 10 gr. off bullet weight
Cup HP = - 6 gr. off bullet weight

All pins come with mold. Large, Med, cup and blank pins. You can request a penta pin but I can't say for sure if Miha will include one or not.

This mold is being run concurrently on at least one other website that I am aware of. It is already at 15 molds over there so there is 22 in total thus Miha could close this at any time. I would suggest anyone interested not sit on the fence.

I requested to change from the 2 cavity to 4 cavity but it looks like i'm down for both molds. Please ensure i'm down for just the 4 cavity mold.
    Thanks.

Put me down for one 2 cavity, Plain Base (If possible). If no one else wants a plain base, I'll take a GC if that makes it easier.

    alamogunr AT charter DOT net

BTW My S&W 657 cylinder measures 1.780" OAL. I have seen case lengths up to 1.290". Starline, which I prefer, gives a range of 1.275-1.285. This boolit should work in Rugers and Smiths. Should give 1/16" + clearance. Somebody should confirm that.

Please disregard previous post. I don't drink or do drugs but I must have been on something when I posted the measurements of the S&W cylinder. This morning I measured the cylinder length of the Ruger .41 Mag Bisley. It measured 1.672". Something had to be off. Ruger cylinders are not shorter than S&W. I re-measured the S&W 657 and got 1.670.

What style GC's are these meant to take? Data on the GC shank would be extremely helpful.

NOTE: I would be interested in a 2-cav GC (w/ all pins) pending availability of GC's.

    mopedmedic AT hotmail DOT com

NOTE: I would be using this in a Model 1910 Win .401... (the ORIGINAL "Hammer of Thor")!

(Edit: this resembles the Ideal 410426 with the nose chopped off... what is the OAL of the cavity?)

The Gator 410397 Gas Check will work and the gas check shank is .393"-.394"

The HP cavity dimensions are the intellectual property of the designer.

Let me know know if you want to be on the sign up list.
