There is the "ANNIE" induction annealer with a loner duty cycle and water cooled. From what Ive read on them one problem with induction annealers is the low duty cycle and over heating. I have thought about one for awhile. The one annealer maker now makes a conversion for the annie instead of torches.

    Haven't got one.
I was hoping someone else would have tried it.
    Product Introduction:

    1.Input VoltageC 18V-DC 50V
    2.Input Current:0-25A (operating for a long time <=22A;operating for short time 22-25A)
    3.Input Power:0-1200W
4.Protection Parameter:when the input current is more than 25A (+/-5%) or the copper tube is short circuit,it will enter into power off protection and the lamp will be on;it will restore to be on after 0.5s
    5.PCB Size:100*100*85mm (feet height 15mm;fan support feet 40mm;fan 25mm;copper internal diameter 40mm,height 40mm)
    6.Melting Alumimum Power Requirement:24V-36V;350W-720W;15-20A;melting point 660 celsius
    7.Melting Copper,Gold,Silver Power Requirement:36V-55V;720W-1200W;20A-25A;melting point respectively are 1083 celsius,1065 celsius,962 celsius
8.ApplicationsIY steel component for quenching, annealing heat process, metal smelting whose melting point is less than 1100 celsius,DIY small induction cooker

    Input Voltage Power Requirements:
1.18V-->more than 270W (when it is less than 18V,the heating speed will be very low,not suitable for heating graphite crucible)
2.24V-->more than 350W (when heating graphite crucible,it should be more than 480W)
3.36V-->more than 540W (when heating graphite crucible,it should be more than 720W)
4.48V-->more than 720W (when heating graphite crucible,it should be more than 960W)

Don't know anything about it. But from the spects, it looks like a low power unit.
Input is DC 18V, I think.
Probably someone here who knows more about it.

This is a cheaper DYI version with a basic parts list/design write up to varying degrees of automation by different builders. I'm scrounging the $ up now to order my parts.

this thing is reasonably priced at $39.99.
Don't know much about these things.
Seems like, if it worked, it would be better than the torch I'm now using.
