My new Brass Rollsizer

Just got it today from Rollsizer.com. Works great and I processed 10k of 9mm and 2k of .45acp in just a few hours. I was looking for a Case pro until I ran across this one on Facebook. I need a faster case feeder than the one from my Dillon 650 to use its full potential, right now I think its around 3000 cases per hour. From time of my order to till I got it from Australia was only a little over 2 weeks.

I know one other person on here got one as well before I did, anyone else have one?

I saw one in action last month at our IPSC Nationals. Good bit of gear.

I have used the Dillon collators successfully over 4000/hr pistol and over 2000/hr for rifle. You can’t over load them though.

I just ordered a case feed upgrade motor to hopefully be able to keep up with the Rollsizer.

It is very small, as you can see I have it sitting on a chair and just have it positioned under my reloading press with a long tube from the case feeder that he includes. When done I put it away on a shelf.

I’m glad to hear that it is small. Maybe I can get one if I get rid of something. As for now, as anyone who has ever been in my shop can tell you, there is not even any room to add a shoebox. No kidding either.

What are you referring to at 4rpm?, the motor is 1730 rpm and the gearbox is 100-1.

Anyone done the math? The large pistol case has 30 slots, let’s say you have it on “low” at 4 RPM.

30 X 4 = 120.

120 in a minute X 60 minutes in an hour would be 7,200.

That’s on low, and sure they don’t always have a case in every slot but they can keep up with more that 3k/hr, as shown in #3.

My case feeder will not keep up with this roll sizer, if you see my video there are only 3 pins in the die, I have a 4 foot tube from the case feeder to the rollsizer and I fill it up before turning the sizer on. When it is running it will eventually outrun the case feeder and empty the tube before it can keep it filled up, and that is with the 3 pins which run it at 3300 cases per hour. If I put the other 3 pins in for a total of 6 it will outrun it very fast at 6600 cases per hour. The new case feeder motor has twice the speed and it also has more torque. Here is a video of one running.

My case feeder actually drops anywhere from 40-70 cases per minute, by my count, since every hole is not always filled. It is inconsistent and when it is less on one revolution for whatever reason, thats when the sizer catches up to it. If it was perfect and every hole was filled every revolution, then yes it would keep up just fine, but that doesnt happen on mine.

I did watch your video, looks like around 10 cases in 10 seconds ~ 3600/hr. The one I posted is running around 12 cases in 10 seconds ~ 4320/hr.

This one is useig the LP plate and from :06 to :10 seconds collates 5 cases (~4500/hr) again set on low.

That does look like a great way to go. I only wish I had the space and more importantly, the money for one.

It may collate 5 cases in those few seconds, but in the next few seconds it may or may not collate a single case at all and so on, thats the way mine works If it did fill every hole every time it work work great, but that doesn't happen in mine reliably. The clutch is tightened all the way and I have a couple of casefeeders that work the same. It will not come close to the 6600 cases per hour i want to run it at which is why the demand was there for someone to make the upgraded case feeder motor.

Let us know how running it faster works out. If it doesn’t these guys make collators that the pros use.
