    Lee mold pin problem

Was casting some 40 S&W bullets this morning. Getting great bullets from it. Taped the handle nut to release bullets from mold and a pin holding the mold to the handle came out.
Put in back in and cast a few more. It came out again.
Has anyone had this problem with their Lee molds? If so, how did you fix it or did you just replace the mold?

If its like the old blocks handle pins. You can put the pin back in and center punch lightly on edge of hole 3 or 4 places evenly spaced around it. Just off f the edge. this will push metal into the hole and make it smaller holding the pin in place.
Another if there is room is to tap the hoe 1/2" deep insert pin and a set screw to hold it similar to rcbs moulds.
How ever you fix it I would recommend doing both sides since the other may not be far behind from failing.

If I am not mistaken the two cavity molds have the pins staked in. It should not be hard to use a center punch to displace enough metal to keep the pin from coming out.

or heat the pin with a torch and hit the end with a hammer to 'oval' the pin which will make it tighter in the round hole.
