I'd like a Hi Tek Solid 8 Cavity Aluminum - with handles

It's for a CZ 75B and I will powdercoat the bullets and then size them. What do you say, should I go for .357 or .359 here?

Email: roger dot olsson at gmail (dot ) com -

    Cheers,

    Roger

    Cheers,

    Roger
i picked the .359 for the reason that, i prefer having to resize 2 or 3 thous than having to deal with an undersize boolit ; we're relying of the lead we use, some lead cast smaller, some larger.

since you PC, 357 might be enough, but if ever you use something else, like hi tek,it doesn't add any on the diameter of the boolit

    Thank you.

Will the MP mold drop the .357 bullets somewhat larger as cast? And what diameter can we expect the .359 to drop at?

Sorry if my questions are noob and silly, I'm new to casting.

Hello and sorry for the delayed response been on vacation and reception is very poor!!
I have you added to the list and to answer you question Mihas molds usually cast about 1 thou larger than stated. So in my experience a .357 mold throws .358 bullets with ww and 2% tin.
If you soften in with pure about 50/50 ww to pure with 2% it will throw .3575 bullets.

    Hope that this helps.

    Have a good day!
