Got my mold in today and already have it cleaned and on it’s first heat cycle. Looks beautiful as usual.

Peculiar that two of the round HP pins came with the screws installed but the part where you insert the Allen key came stripped from the box, so I can’t even remove them. One of those pins won’t seat all the way in the mold and the other can’t even insert into the holes in the mold.

I already have a PM to Miha, so we’ll see what he says. Hopefully you guys don’t run into the same problem.

I got mine today, and everythng looks great. I put it together and cleaned it. I actually had spare pins with mine. By the way, there is a very good tutorial on their website, if have not seen it yet.

Finally had a chance to go down to the post office and pick up the shipment.

Looks beautiful. Washed parts with dawn and worm water to dry overnight. Will heat-cycle tomorrow, and cast. Look forward to it...

Big thanks to Wasalmonslayer for honchoing this for us!!!

He wrote me back asking for a mailing address so he can send new ones. He’s running a solid business in my book.

Hi all, maybe its just my inexperience, but something seems to be wrong with the handle for the sprue-plate on my mould. Are yours the same? I can't close the sprue-plate because of the fingers are in the way.

Your mold has a different sprue plate than mine does. Mine has one just like a NOE mold, and I just tap it with a small piece of wood to open the sprue

Its normal. You have aluminum Lee style sprue with lever handle. Hold handles a but down/lower - move fingers! See photo, I just finished my first casting with 8cav 358-165 Larsen. You don’t need a lot of power to close mould. When pour, hold only handles and do NOT squeeze on lever handle!

Brass mould has different sprue, I use mallet to open those, some people use glove.

Quick question, does this mold have any mold identification numbers stamped on it? I ordered .357" six cavity and the only numbers I see on mine are the "357". Thanks.
