Finding things you don't remember where it came from?

I am still looking for 200 rounds of new factory 8X57 ammo that is missing.

Sometimes I have reloading tools I don't use that I threaten to sell. When I can't find them I don't know if they are lost or have been sold....

That reminds me. My ex hated my old riding mower taking up room in the shed. In the spring I found that it was missing. It turns out she had given it away while I was traveling....

Things can always get worse my friends.

A lifelong friend of mine was widowed about 10 years ago. After a few years he wound up getting himself a 'mail order' bride from China.

My buddy is as big a mess as anyone, myself included when it comes to being organized. Well, he went on a week long hunting trip and Chinese being the organized people they are, she was being a good wife and organized him while he was gone.

40 plus years of reloading, casting, and hunting gear was now all well packed away when he returned from his hunting trip. Just the presses that weren't bolted down was about all he could see. She meant well, but had no idea just exactly what she'd done. It was all packed in cardboard boxes to boot. I told him Google was his friend, find a picture and point it out to her and ask 'Which box?'.

Yep, he's had to buy a few things he couldn't find even before she organized him. Some of them, I'm sure he didn't even know he had 2 of already. LOL!!!
