I hope you have 5 or 6 older ones you'll sell me at that price. Heck I'll even take the newer models at that price.

The 1010 is a great scale. I purchased mine for $26.95 in 1975, labeled as Ohaus. I still have the original box. I had the ear on the pan break off years ago. I had to take the pan hanger apart and add a few shot pellets, to bring it back in range to zero, making up for the weight loss of the ear. I wonder if RCBS/Ohaus would cover this under warranty, and replace the pan? I never gave it much of a thought.

You won't find em on that Fleabay site. Those people will sell a one-pin HP mold for $140.

Look on the reloading sites on facebook. That's where I see em fairly often.
I'm not selling one, nor trying to buy his. I have no reason to exaggerate.

I've got one each of RCBS and Ohaus.
Made in the 60's or 70's.
    Both work the same.
Except for the color, and tag, look the same.
I've used them a few times, but I like my Pacific/Hornady better.

You're going to like the 10-10 scale.

The Ebay seller, a Louisiana gentleman, included a 100 ct box of Nosler .22 varmint bullets as a "little something extra". Not every day somebody just drops a $25-30 gift in with a used reloading scale!
In Louisiana it's an old common custom to include a little something extra in a transaction as a bonus or gift ...What you received was " Lagniappe" pronounced Lan-Yap .
It's a nice custom and you got an excellent scale .
A local car dealer gives you a big box of smoked pork sausage with the purchase of a car....he's been doing his sausage lagniappe thing for three generations ...his daddy started it , he continued and now his son's keep the tradition alive. I bought a car, paid cash for it and got Two boxes....

I have it set up and it tested fine with my test weights. Haven't had the opportunity or time for another loading run but looking forward to actually using it. I really like the weight of the thing, I was always afraid of bumping the light weight scales in use then feeling like I needed to check zero again. I have a large 3 beam scale however it takes up so much room I never use it but I never felt I needed to retest for zero like on the lighter weight scales.

This 10/10 came in for a work over this morning - Recent manufacture - Cast into the base shows "Ohaus NJ. USA" but the box clearly shows it was made in Mexico. The ones from China are marked the same, the only way to tell with the hammer finish green scales is if you have the cardboard box.

I just saw another nice Ohaus 10-10, in box with dust cover, looked pristine, sell for $45 + ship.

It was on one of those buy/sell/trade groups on facebook. There are some really smokin' deals in some of those groups.
