Hello; My mold finally arrived today,a four cavity, gas checked, .311dia, solid nosed, very well machined mold! I was beginning to be concerned as there was no "buzz"about the molds only "I got mine". I fired up the furnace and started casting, mold was somewhat slow to heat up,it has much mass, unlike many of my molds this one in on spec for size, weight and the gas check shank is perfect. I cast a couple of hundred, installed gas checks and powder coated. I loaded six dummy rds in .300Blk brass and they cycled from the mag without a hitch, this is the primary rifle I'm hoping to use this bullet in. I have been using Lee 155,however the slightest thing will cause stoppage due to the nose dia being on the brink of too large and I powder coat all bullets. If this 130gr bullet performs as it appears it will,I'll be one happy ole man!! Thanks to all who ramrodded the buy! lreed

Hello: Yes,gladly share any info that might help! Standard disclaimer - this is what works in my firearm, maybe not yours, the O.A.L. that I used is 1.90,somewhat short by the Lee loading info but has worked fine in my Anderson Am15 .300Blk. I used H110 starting data from Lee for a 140 jacketed bullet. I have not checked velocity yet, only fired fifty rnds for funct check. Always a work in progress! Lreed

I loaded 25 rounds with a starting load of 17 gr. IMR4227 in 30 Herrett. Of course I wind up with a short throat barrel on my Contender. 2.055" oal

Somehow I missed this run. Is there any expectation of another re-run?
    Thank you.

Miha usually makes a few extras. Check with him, you MIGHT be in luck.

Thanks DukeinFlorida. I PMed him. We will see. It appeared there was a line for extras so I will not hold my breath. I am sure another group buy will happen for this one soon enough, even if I have to start it myself

I will wait for a reply from Mihec. Sutherpride59, did you ask if any extras existed? If none exist, I may wait a few weeks and restart a discussion to see if there is still enough interest. I look forward to seeing pictures from those that got them!

The problem with starting a new discussion is that you will often find that MOST people who wanted one of these molds already got one. It will take a LONG time to go around again, and have enough people who add their names. I've seen second go arounds take over a year. The current rules for discussion is that any discussion that doesn't get enough "traction" in 90 days gets pulled from the discussion phase. I've already had a few drop out of the discussions for that reason.

It's best to be checking the discussions as well as the active areas for molds.

Moderators: If this is in the wrong spot please move it or let me know so I can. Thanks.
I have a question for those of you using this mold as a plain base:
Has anyone tried Plain base gas checks on one of these boolits?
    Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, and has been suggested to others, contact Miha directly, and see if he made a few extras. You might be able to get one.

I would suggest BOTH. One way or the other (or both) he will get the request.

I contacted him and was able to get one. It arrived today. This is my 6th mold from him and it never gets old gazing on the new ones. Time to take some pics then wash and heat cycle. Do contact him.

Has anyone working on 300 Blk with this gotten any results they care to share? I am hoping to get some cast this weekend and start load development after a little aging. I would appreciate any updates.
    Thanks.
Do I need to I can start a new thread for this question?
