Ruger Bisley Grips Have you made your own?

I would like some thoughts on the best way to make your own grips for my Ruger SuperBlackhawk Bisley?

I found some Purple Heart wood that I think would look different on my Stainless Ruger. And I am not really happy with the stock glued together wood grips it comes with.

    Thank You for any information.

Those are nice indeed. But are they done and mounted as of yet?

Well to be honest I would not need anything right now from Brownells so I think it would be a bit expensive to just purchase a screw with escutcheons lol. But I could be wrong?

So I will just make my own.

They come in a bag of six I think and they send small items in an envelope.

A set I made for my brothers BFR .475. Re-used an old screw and escutcheon from on old set of grips.
