Title pretty much says it all. Looking for a used (great condition) used headspace guage in 223.

Come on guys; someone has some headspace guages they will never use again.
You may want to go ahead and buy a new one. I'd suggest Dave Manson Precision. A "go" gage is $35 wile a complete set of go, no-go- field gages is $75. Unfortunately, headspace gages are sonething a fellow needs if he is going to work on firearms with any precision.

Yeah, I just thought that the guy that had the gauge(s) to build his AR would be having something taking up space and not needed any longer.
Good luck finding 223 gauges, for some reason NOBODY has them in stock currently. I was looking for over a month and finally just payed the money and bough a 3 pc set from Fulton Armory.
Just get a go gauge and put a piece of scotch tape on the back and you have your no go gauge. Ive never "gauged" any of my AR builds, either. I should have, but never did LOL.

Really, the tolerances are that close? Since I'll be using the gauge(s) on a H&R single shot, how will I actually tell?
Good advice. Seems they're in high demand.
I wouldnt buy the whole set. Its a waste of money. But, its your money. You need the go gauge to go and the no go to not go. Its pretty simple and straightforward. The tape method will give you a very safe setup. If you cant find any for sale I can send you mine to borrow.

Thanks for the generous offer, but I need tooling Porn every now and then, so I'll be buying the go/no go gauges and probably the Forester brand.
can you post a picture of what it looks like? I have this thingy............ in an rcbs box, but have no idea what it is.
