    smokes brown torture test

Got a new ar15 9mm with a 4.5 inch barrel. I was thinking of putting a binary trigger on it but was conserned shooting that fast would cause problems with the coating. So I went out back yesterday with 9 30 round mags loaded. Dumped them as fast as I could pull the trigger and reload and do it again. After 270 rounds I pulled the bolt and looked down the barrel and it was whistle clean. Did attract some attention though. two of my neighbors came over so see if the Russians had attacked. We ended up shooting another 4 mags not so quickly (they did) and it still looked great. so 390 rounds it didn't miss a beat or even need a wet patch put through it.

lioyd, you and your ideas always cost me money, first the binary trigger in a regular ar (which is really fun to shoot now) and now this

That little AR is so cute even an anti gun person would like it. Kind of like not liking a puppy! Id love to put a binary trigger in it but money is a bit short right now. Id actually like two of them. Ive got an 8.5 inch 556 I put together a few months ago too that is begging for one. Cool thing about the 9 is I can shoot 5 or 6 9s with cast bullets for the same price as one 556 with a ball bullet. Ive got a 16 inch AR in 9mm too and every time I take the grandkids out shooting its the first gun they pick to bring along. This new one is going to probably take that honor for now on though. Heck a guy can shoot one for about the same price as 22 shells for my M&P 22AR.
