Interesting. The name of that powder is part of the lot number of the IMR-7383 I purchased many years ago…
LOT # RAD78L 47985 is the lot number on my keg of IMR-7383…
I have found my lot of 7383 to be slower than the 4064 they recommend using as starting data…
I have also read some tales of freight from some who have used it indicating pressures suddenly change with little change in charges. This I never experienced, but I never used it to near maximum charges...
I’ve used in with the 223, 30-30, 308, 6.8 SPC, and the 7-30. The only ones that seem to do well were the 6.8mm SPC and the 30-30 Winchester. All were with cast boolits…
