What advantage do you see over a .260 Remington or 7mm/08?

    Castaroo -

    G'Day on ya !

You might be able to neck-up .22-250 brass to final .270" cal desired, going in reasonable neck expansion increments.

For this process, you might be able to initially expand using a LEE .250 Savage FL die; for a first step up to .25" caliber.

A LEE 6.5mm Grendel die could be used for the second expansion, out to .264".
A LEE 6.8 SPC expander would next be installed in the 'Grendel die, for the final expansion out to .270" cal.
Both of these dies feature the same expander " clamp ", so all that would get swapped-over is the expanders.

I mention LEE dies because ( IMHO ) they are handy for " wildcatting ", cost is reasonable; and LEE has has made replacement die parts readily available.

I think I would try a load of fast burning powder topped with corn meal in the 22/250 cases to
blow them out to .277. Should work and not as much trouble as expanding.

At the risk of seeming crazy (too late) just shoot 22-250 or .250 Savage ammo in it to form the brass. Wear glasses.

It's based on the 25 savage case just like the 300 savage and the 22-250. Looking at the min chamber dimensions you might have to set the barrel back a thread to clean up the 22-250 chamber to the 270 Titus after the reborn. The 22-250 chamber is a little longer to the shoulder than the 270 print I have. That said it's a wildcat so if you fire form brass that issue disappears and your neck gets a little shorter.
