    cast and 7mms

I'm about to cast some 287308 for my .280 rem. This bullet ive seen described as designed for the 280 rem. I cant find any load data for it specifically in 280 rem . (168g round nose gas check)

First round of casting im going to try clip on wheel weights, after they are gas checked and powdercoated ill weigh them. (ill size to .285 as well) Assuming they are in the neighborhood of 165 im planning on giving them 37ish grains of win 748 for a targeted 1900-ish fps

Id like to talk about any 7mm cast sucess ???
Anyone with interest in trying a few of these boolits im happy to share or swap a few.

    Thanks !!!
    Ben

Might want to try some of them without PC. While I am not familiar with that mold, if it's a bore ride design you could have a problem by making the nose .003/.004 bigger with PC.
The only amendment the Democrats support is the 5th.

Even without a lubesizer, it's possible they could still chamber. Try one to see if it fits. That's what worked best in my 5.56 AR-15.

It is not your caliber but my most accurate cast boolit rifle is my 7mm TCU. My best accuracy is with the Lee 130 RNGC at just under 1900 fps and the Lee 140 gr RFGC at about 1750 fps is an excellent deer boolit. I am just using the Lee pan lube and a Lee sizer.

The twist is 1/9 for both the rifle and pistol.
