Yeah! How about that. I’m going to run the guts out of my Lee 4-20 with a Hatch PID since it’s working (I know because it drips) and paid for. Let someone else test out this pig in a poke pot. I hope it is worth the wait and price for those who try it.

Just got the email that they are now available. Just got my easy melt too last week. Got it full of range scrap for its maiden voyage! Been ladle casting for about a year after swapping the pot to a solid bottom on my Lee dripper!
I hope they work great. I don’t need one but I’d love pick up an old Pro Melt for a good price once people start upgrading.
My 1988-made RCBS Pro-Melt is one of the best tool investments I have ever made.

About the same age as mine +/-. I`ve been using a high temp boiler gauge for almost as long for pot temp.Robert
my original used Pro-Melt has been great from day 1. did bypass the temp control and am using a PID.
only problem is after casting for 30-45 minutes the pot is empty
