not as bad as it looks, i swear!

Can barely see the bench let alone get to it!

This winter I was forced to store extra junk in my designated space . . . sad state for a hobby room.

Most of this clutter is a great problem to have . . . buckets full of indoor range scrap!

That “Satan’s Little Smelter” will be up for grabs here in a few weeks if anybody is interested . . . it works so well that I have enough ingots to last me several lifetimes. As soon as I get through this last batch it will need a new home.

Once I get tidied up I’ll post pics that show how obsessively organized I really am . . . which might actually be MORE embarrassing than the current state of affairs.

Just curious sir, but is that cabinet REALLY tipping to the side or am I seeing an obtuse illusion?

As I studied these pictures I most resemble Parker hale and tazman it is refreshing to see I am not the only organized piler on here.

When I'm not charging cases I'll have the fan on high - oh, and there's a 52" ceiling fan going too. I like a little air moving.

It's more cluttered then I prefer. I've posted enough pics over the years to prove that this is how my bench always is. My work van, tool bags and tool boxes are just as clean and neat. The garage loft needs some work but everything is still easily accessible. Just not as organized as I prefer.

Dragon pretty well sets the standard! I've gotten some nice storage ideas from him.

Well this is my new room under construction. The old room was 7 x 12 and the new room is 10 x 12. It's amazing adding 3 ft by 12 ft feels great, of course about a 40% increase in usable space is a lot. This is a picture of the reloading bench section. Bench is 8 ft by 2 ft, made of glue-lam beams bolted down to the new tool benches and the wall. I use a piece of scrap plywood on the bench for anytime I need pound or hammer something, which saves the bench finish. The new tool benches have ball bearing draw runners and pull all the way out, compared to the old Craftsmen tool benches that the drawers were more than marginal. Along the right wall will have floor to ceiling shelves.

The picture below is my casting bench, which is also under construction. There will be shelving over the bench along with a range hood with light and fan which will be over the casting pots. The bench top is 6 ft by 20 inches made out of 1 and an 1/8 inch plywood, with Craftsman stacked mid tool boxes to hold my casting molds, along with a 42" drawer which is also a mid box I had laying around which makes a great single drawer. I've put in 5 - 20 amp circuits, 2 over the reloading bench, 2 at the left end of the casting bench, and the 5th is circuit is on the entrance wall for power to a Toyo oil heater. There are also new LED lights which are great, love them.

I'm about 2 1/2 years into reloading, and about 1 1/2 into casting. Maybe 3 years and 2 years, but I'm just getting started.
If you guys will stop taking all the good stuff in swapping and selling, then I can get there faster
