I used to use Red Dot powder for 1 oz and 7/8 oz 12 gauge 2-3/4" trap loads years ago, but I haven't seen Red Dot in years. Been using PROMO and Accurate Nitro 100 for several years now. Are they going to start producing Red Dot and sending it back to the distributors soon?

Happy to hear they are still putting development effort into that line; Red Dot & Blue Dot are my two favorite powders.

I use it in just about every firearm I own across a lot of calibers from shotgun thru handguns & into rifles.

    I like it.

I'm sitting on 2 eight-pounders of Promo, it'll be some time before I try that new Red Dot.

RD/Promo....my most versatile powder. I plan to never have less than 4 jugs on hand. I remember buying it for $69/8lb at the Ohio State Shoot a number of years ago. I only got two cases (4 jugs) as I already had a lot in stock. That was one of my dumber decisions. Should have bought a dozen jugs.
