I have a chance to get a Lyman 445599 mold and was wondering what you may think about using those boolits in a Dutch Beaumont and/or an 84 Mauser?

I don’t know how tight your chamber is but I am downsizing a Lyman 458 diameter bullet ( 385 grain) with first a 454 and then a 451 to fire in my 43 Egyptian rolling block which should be getting .446 or .448 bullets. WW alloy of about 12 bhn. Very accurate and no leading. Thought about getting a .448 bullet by why fix something that isn’t broken?
I think that bullet would be undersized for a Beaumont bore; I have two Beaumonts and both shoot well with .458" diameter bullets. COTW lists bullet diameter of the Beaumont military round at .457".
Thanks for those responses. After thinking about it, I realize I shouldn't have mentioned the Beaumont; I know better as I have several rounds loaded. The Mauser is different though in that IIRC , it uses a .445 boolit. The mold I referenced is a muzzle loading 45 caliber boolit, just wondering about suitability.

I used the 445599 in seated out .45 Colt single shot loads as a bore rider.
It bumps up to fill the rifling all the way down the length of the boolit.
