I found this in a consignment shop last week. $7 and was filled with lead stinkers! I plugged it in and it works but what can I use it for?
I also found 2 pewter candle stick holders.
I was thinking maybe I can melt the pewter down in it to make small ingots.

Put your sprue/rejects in it, while your casting? And sit your mold on it to keep warm.
That's not a bad idea,keep the mold warm like a mini hot plate. I'll give it a try.
