    Hi Eric,

You will get a shipping and tracking number notice by email.

I've had numerous breakdowns with one of my CNC machines (my very first one) that's continually put orders behind. Just drove 2300 miles round trip to Tucson to pick up a replacement machine this past week and should have it online today. Had to take a break Memorial Day weekend and I'm back at work today.

    Thanks,

    Pat

Sorry, potentially dumb question, but what's the difference between "500 S&W Cal Pistol (.501)" and "50 cal"? Is "50 cal" for 50BMG?

There both the same dies KS, just different names.

Both for 50 caliber pistol gas check shank molds.

Ok, if still running the sale, I'd like to go ahead and get that 50 cal die, as well as a 44cal and 44PB cal. PM inbound

I'm still keeping this offer active for Cast Boolit members KSU.

    Update on my shop...

Been in the middle of a machine swap as well as continually running parts and filling orders minus one machine which always gets me behind.

I replaced my first old CNC machine here with another upgraded better machine the past few weeks. Drove 2300 miles round trip to pick it up. It's taken considerable work moving these machines- cleaning, plumbing, wiring, retrofitting and fabricating things like splash guards and assembling tooling blocks, programing, etc. All the things that have to be done that some people don't want to hear about but the good news is I'm almost done and things will rapidly speed up soon.

It has taken much longer and much more work than I anticipated.

So I thank you for your patience and understanding and wanted to let everyone know I'm working daily to get the last final outstanding orders completed and shipped that hasn't left as yet.

Here's some Info on my 50 Caliber dies for Gas Check Shank Molds:

50 Caliber Range Test with Checkmaker™ Gas Check Dies and Accurate Mold 50-420KG

    http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...0KG&highlight=

Notes on dies for 50 Caliber

    50 caliber dies

The standard (shank mold) .501 50 caliber pistol (500 S&W) etc., Checkmaker™ dies will only work with a modification to your mold. Standard 50 cal cast bullet shanks are designed to use .022 metal which is expensive.

I designed Checkmaker™ dies in standard 50 caliber (gas check shank molds) to work with inexpensive thinner metal. You need to order a 50 cal mold with a .473 shank, or have your mold shank opened up to .473. This way you can use inexpensive metals from .010 to .016 and the best performing .014 Amerimax Aluminum. Again- the 50 cal standard Checkmaker is not designed to make a gas checks with (expensive) .022 thick metals.

    Update...

Glad to announce my new machine is finally, FINALLY online and making beautiful parts and I'm rapidly getting caught up.

It' s been an 8 week ordeal and I've been at it daily, seriously. The seller of my replacement machine failed to mention it had an intermittent control problem that caused error failures with no rhyme or reason to it.

It's taken myself, my buddy who's an electronic engineer, and the manufacturer tech of the control ALL of this time until we finally tracked the problem down and fixed it.

I'm excited as this machine is newer, faster, has more capability and will greatly up my productivity in die manufacturing. Plus it matches my 3 other CNC machines. I know if this business was easy, everyone would be doing it and I hate to complain or make excuses at any time. But now I will finally be caught up soon and also doing the last of some 100 program edits to match this machine, but I'm very happy.

So all remaining and current orders will be shipping soon.

I sincerely apologize for having to wait,. I know you will be happy with your dies and I appreciate your business here at CB greatly.

    Pat

Thank you Pat. I understand the stress and frustration you are going through to some extent. Thank you for putting up with what I am sure is a constant barrage of emails. I know I contributed to that and your graciousness and patience is appreciated.

Thanks for the comments...I've got the best customers with much support, and I really get very few emails regarding order status. I think most folks that know me, know I bust my butt and I'm very concerned with filling orders as fast as possible.

Stressful part is the machine I replaced had given me numerous problems for the past 3 years. Now I finally replace it and the new machine came with problems.. like out of the fire into the pan, or visaversa ...lol

I really need a break as all I've done is work.

Also like to add a huge part of my sales are from existing customers. Most everyone eventually buys dies for all of their calibers and I'm very thankful for the reorders.
