    extension handle for SDB

back when I was young (and dinosaurs roamed the Earth) I was able to spend all day at the SDB with unlubed cases

Fast forward to post-2 rotator cuff surgeries and even with lube I find 100 to be about my limit.

I constructed out of wood an extension handle that slips over the OEM one (without the ball) and gives me about 150% movement compared to the original configuration.

It's tight enough to stay on by friction and I can really see a difference in the amount of Force needed. Course the range of movement is greater but that is not a problem.

Do have to get used to the 'feel' of the primers being fully seated as there is much less Force required now.

That’s great! Hopefully your post may inspire others with a similar problem as yours.

Fortunately I can still reload up to 2000 pistol rounds at a sitting using the 1050. But I am feeling it

My issue is casting as my left arm is the problem and I cannot use the multi cavity molds for long. I have invested in a Master Caster and will see how it goes. Down the road, I may need to automate it.

Good for you for coming up with a solution to keep you loading.

Did forget to mention that you have to be careful how far down it goes on the blue handle as it can get in way when you push handle forward to seat primers

Wow, you don't get to see real pictures of a bear attack very often.

I'm keeping my distance around the bears.

Anything that doesn't kill you makes you stronger . . .

    except bears,

bears will kill you. (favorite saying of my wife)
