Remington R1 1911 with stag handles

I don’t know who made these grips but I walked into a local pawn shop and fell in love so she came home with me!! Click image for larger version.

    .

My Remington 1911R1 had stags like that mounted, when I gifted it to my oldest Grandson for his 21st B-Day, 5 or so years ago.

The last time he went to my gun club for some shooting practice with me, the stags were nowhere to be found - he had switched to a set of grey/carbon-fiber Zombie panels.

Now I lay me down to sleep

One of the nicest looking pairs I've ever seen.

Did you buy the grips seperatley or the gun and grips?
