Some sort of gallery bullet? The lack of vent lines suggests an old mould. Never seen one marked like that.

Perhaps not so old, with an Allen screw...
Sprue plate looks similar like one Ohaus mold which I bought while ago...
I was given the mold back in the 80s and I had to make the handles for it, and I'n not sure if I installed the allen screw or not, so it might not be original. I did cast some bullets with it back then and they look fine. They look like .458 wad cutters. lol I have searched loading manuals back to before 1900 and can't find any reference to a 244gr .458 bullet. I don't think it is a black powder mold because of the shallow grease grooves, but I could be wrong. I'll have to clean the mold and cast a few and squib them in my .458 win mag, and see how they will shoot. Probably not so good with a 1 in 14 twist barrel, but it will be fun.
Similar to but not the same as the old Ideal 457127 at 210 grs. Closest I could find. There used to be a lot of quite lightweight boolits available for the big bores. Not so much anymore.
I see quite a few similar in old catalogues but nothing just like that one.
There used to be a lot more mould makers than we have now so who knows? Well, I guess that is your question then isn't it? Not me is my answer.
Good luck!
I bet it shoots okay at moderate velocities anyway. It has good bearing surface so may surprise you. It could make a very nice plinker with a small charge of fast powder. Like a .22 on steroids! Lots of steroids!
I got a 165 gr. mould for my .44 Marlin made by Accurate. I think it is a great little boolit for fun shooting.
