    ACTIVE - MiHec 8mm Sil Rerun 2 & 4 Cavity HP / 6 & 8 Cavity Solid

Miha is giving the green light on this mold for a rerun.

Thank you to the designer and all past participants in the last buy!

    MiHec 8mm Sil brass
This is a sign-up thread for an old GB & BRP mold design........ specifically a heavier cast boolit for the 8mm caliber rifles. This boolit is a gas check design. It casts out slightly above 0.326" and sizes easily to 0.324". Ready to load weight is about 200 gr. dependent on your alloy. It has fit in everything we've tried it in. To date the best load has gotten sub 1 MOA at 100 yds....... due to lack of a good scoped rifle.

The costs will be as follows-

    - 2 Cavity HP all pins included 95 Euro's (80,75 with discount)
    - 4 Cavity HP all pins included 135 Euro's (114,75 with discount)
    - 6 Cavity solid Brass (80,75 with discount)
    - 8 Cavity Aluminum (80,75 with discount)

Prices and options are to be confirmed by MiHec they may change!

Please give your disguised e-mail address and the number and type of molds you want.

As always these buys can take time please be patient and give grace. Getting upset will not make it go any faster!

Is there a drawing somewhere with sizes showing the nose diameters/profile ?

Your opinion please - would this be a good mold for both 8mm (Mauser) and 32 WS (94 Win) with the appropriate sizing of course? The picture of the flat nose or hollow point MIGHT make it safe for tube feed rifles. Any actual experience anyone?
    Thanks

    Good morning
I have no personal experience with either of them but maybe someone else will chime in to help out.
I do know it may be a little sketchy in the win 94 tube just for reasons with the bullet being pushed back in the case.
You would have to do a decent crimp to get it to hold.

I give loading advice based on my actual results in factory rifles with standard chambers, twist rates and basic accurizing.
My goals for using cast boolits are lots of good, cheap, and reasonably accurate shooting, while avoiding overly tedious loading processes.
The BHN Deformation Formula, and why I don't use it.
How to find and fix sizing die eccentricity problems.
Do you trust your casting thermometer?
    A few musings.

If you want a solid mold it will be a six cavity brass or 8 cavity aluminum.

    Please advise
