    In-vehicle Rifle transport case

Hey all. Has anyone made a design for a case to hold 3 rifles or so, that you could put in the passenger side of a vehicle to haul 'em from hither to yon? Mainly I want it to not obviously look TOO much like a rifle case, just curious. Could make something with thin plywood and some wood ribs to make it strong enough.

It's difficult to disguise something that long without making it obviously a long gun case.

A large "roll" (think blanket) that had three sleeves (pockets) sewn on one side could be rolled up and secured with a strap or two.
If the long edges of the blanket were folded over to cover the butt stocks and muzzles, the entire thing would just look like a rolled up blanket. It think that would look a little less "gun like" than a long flat case.

Whatever you build just get on eBay or amazon and order you a coupe of stickers to put on it.
    Peavey, Gibson, Fender, Ibanez etc.

    Most will assume it’s guitars.

I was given a golf club case that was rescued from a trash pile. It will hold 4 or 5 rifles, in soft cases, inside and has wheels on it so it’s easy to get from the house to the truck.

If you put on a funny hat and pants, everyone would think your just going golfing.

It’s kind of like this one.

Just as good a chance someone will break into a car to steal a high end guitar. LOL But good for not getting strange looks when checking into a hotel...especially in Las Vegas!

I like the golf bag carrier idea jmorris!!

In that case, just get a bunch of liberal propaganda stickers. That oughta keep it safe.

Biohazard stickers are another option, but could have odd consequences

Seat back junk holder pocket that goes across the entire back of the truck seat. Sew in a hidden rifle case in the back of it.

A friend had a bronco, he made a false floor in the back about 12" above the original. It was simply 1/2" plywood with legs to support it. Covered it with matching carpet. This left an opening under it that was out of sight when the door was closed and didn't look out of place. Underneath rifle cases, chronographs and other expensive gear could be stashed.

ID:	217156I'll second the golf club hard cases. I picked up several at a garage sale about 8 years ago. They are unobtrusive and work extremely well. The small ones will hold 4 to 6 scoped longguns in cases and I've gotten 8 in the big ones with no problem. I think I gave 10$ a piece for mine. Mine are both a little older but are all skb cases.
