    WTB: Dan Wesson 22 SidePlate

I am in need for a (left/port side) sideplate for a .22 Dan Wesson Target revolver which was made in 1978. Present plate is in two pieces, and Dan Wesson service advised there are no more of these in their parts bins. I am hoping one of you wonderful guys or guyettes may have a "parts" revolver, or better yet the actual part -- to send my way (of course, for some $$$).

With fingers crossed, and high hopes...

Your neighbor Numrich might have one.

Thank you -- but, I explored Numrich (Gun Parts Corp), eBay, Dan Wesson itself, EWD, and pretty much every parts place I'm aware of to not find one. Some dealers in my area have "junk boxes" with blown guns, gun parts, and ???? -- just in case someday someone may need what may be in said boxes. Kind of what, if nothing else, I'm hoping by posting this thread.

I believe any small frame should fit, 357, 38 or 32.

I believe your right, I also second the DW forum if it's out there someone there knows about it.
