WTT half jacket .44 bullets for 45 ACP Brass

I have a 3 lb coffee can filled with half jacket .44 cal bullets. I don't own a .44 any thing. While I haven't counted them, there are easily over 200 in that can. What I need is .45 ACP brass. Anyone care to trade?

Lots of interest so lets narrow down the deal. I'll photograph the lot tomorrow and post. I'm not gonna count them but you can approximate. I will ship in a medium FRB. So, that's my end. You have to come up with enough once-fired or new, large primer brass to justify my shipping and the bullets. If it's dirty mixed range brass then about 500 would be right. If new or all one make, adjust downward as you see fit.

How about 500+, all LPP, crappy brands filtered out, pin tumbled and roll sized. I’ll put in at least 600 in case there are a few you don’t like.

Please just send me a PM if you’re interested.

I didn't realize from your post that you wanted an auction. I sent you a PM offering brass sorted by headstamp (implying all one headstamp, but to be fair, my PM didn't explicitly state that) and asking how much you wanted in trade with each of us paying our own shipping. I was the first to respond to your post and PM'd immediately after my response, but have received no response at all.
Please remove my offer from consideration.

OK, I really didn't want an auction per say, I honestly didn't expect so many guys to respond. I'm posting a pic and some additional info. First, there's 17 lbs, 33/4 oz of bullets. There are 32 bullets to the pound. So, there are 550 bullets. To be safe, we'll call it 500. The appear to be Sierra but I can't swear to it. Every other bullet that guy left me were Sierra so these might be too. I just don't know. The bullets mic at .429ish with my dial caliper. Sierra says their bullets mic at .4295 so we are in the ball park.

Used brass seems to be going for about $60 per thousand. That's sorted into all large primer stuff. Bullets are $30/100 so that would be $150. Now I figure everything sold as surplus needs a good 50% make down to be interesting so that takes us to $75. At that value I would think 1000 cases would be an even trade. However, I don't need 1000 cases so lets say 700 and you pay shipping to me and I'll pay shipping to you. Can we make a deal? I may have an equal number of cast bullets to trade as well. I'll check those next. I'll redirect your PMs back to this post. If you are still interested at 700 cases just PM me after 1600 hrs PDST today and I'll get things rolling. If you think I'm asking too much tell me why and I'll consider it.

At 1603 hrs the deal was done with a gentleman from Texas. Don't fret, I've got another deal coming on .44 bullets.
