Okay, I'm confused.
Last call was on April 19th; and "JUST NOW" 20 June, the GB is closed, WTH? Why even have a "Last Call" if you're going to add more, almost daily, to the list?
I think this will be the last group buy I'll be on. This GB should have been completed long ago and we should have had our molds by now.
I'm not sure how you guys feel, but getting updates of "Two weeks, two weeks, two weeks" isn't cutting it. No disrespect to the honcho,, not his fault.

Life's biggest tragedy is we get old too soon, and wise too late.
Update......
I think i will have this molds ready in aprox 14 days.
Some troubles with my back / spine and I'm running around doctors....
I can understand how you feel. I was kind of the same way when it went to "Last call". This is my first group buy and I didn't really know what to expect so I figured that would be like a week. Then I got to watching it and it seemed like every two or three days someone would chime in with another order and I thought, "Well, good for them. I'm going to have this mold for years likely, so what's another couple of days so someone else can get on the bus." So, I imagined in my head some sort of countdown clock and every time someone else chimed in, the clock reset. I don't know if that's how it works, but that's what I imagined and it helped make it comical.
This turned out to be especially true as I looked at other group buys and it seemed they go on for a long time trying to get to last call. It seems some don't make it.
Now, I don't know if you have done business with Mi-hec, but I have. I bought one mold from his website. I watched to see when it was in stock and I think from the time I placed the order until when I had was about a week and a half. Considering international post, that's pretty good.
As to the mold itself, it took a few cycles to get it rolling, but I've got a full ammo can of 359-147 TC cartridges loaded and ready for my AR9, plus a bit over a full large coffee can of just boolits powdercoated and sized waiting for empty cases. I'm confident this round nose will be just the ticket as well. And no one else is making a 147g, grooveless, round nosed, 8-cavity mold.
The way I look at it, I didn't have it in January or February, so another week or two, I'll live. I'm sure it will be every bit as good as the first one that used to ring steel at 100 yards out of an 8.5" barrel with a suppressor. And when it gets here, it'll be like Christmas in the summer or those happy days when the ATF magically mails you your stamp.
I've been in on a few group buys, all in the past few months (it gets addicting). All MP molds, where the buys closed shortly after I ordered, were invoiced in two weeks or so, with my receiving shipment in a couple weeks after.
That being said, I've read a sticky in the GB discussion forum on MP mold minimum requirements of thirty molds ordered for new designs, and there are threads where only half that number have signed up in twice the time as ours.
Having chronic back pain myself, I can sympathize with Miha's temporary incapacity, which probably explains why there was no hard closure on the buy shortly after hitting the requisite number (I think I also read that there were some equipment/mill/lathe issues?). And I can wait for the product, which is better by far than what I'd started out with, and will still get to me before those who've been waiting even longer for their buys to reach the magic number.

When all this group buy stuff started years ago it was not uncommon to wait a year plus for a mould to show up at my door. Take your time. I love all the M&P moulds I have. It's worth the wait.
