    Lyman 450 sizer question

Does anyone know what size/type of set screw retains the top punch on a 450 sizer? Thanks.

I stripped mine out several years ago , a fellow member suggested putting a dab of beeswax or soft bullet lubricant on the end of the top punch stem and shoving it back into the hole....no set screw required .
That's the best advice I ever got. I use a soft beeswax based lube so just put a small amount on the stems end and shoved it back into the hole and twisted it to get an even application of stickum , the sticky wax keeps it in place, it self centers because there is no set screw holding it in one place and the best....you can pull the stem out with your fingers , no tool required.
It may sound strange but it's really a better way to keep the top punch in place, I was going to get a larger set screw, drill and tap a new hole but the soft lube works so well....I'm going to stick with it.

Ive been using the 'sticky' process for years on both my 450 and my RCBS.

Thanks for all the replies, I will try the "sticky" method before hunting for a new screw
