Soft Gas Checks of any value?

I have a box of CF Venture soft gas check wax sheets. Its a touch dirty on the very edges from setting in a shop, but is good other than that. It was given to me by the old timer gunsmith a while back. I have read a few threads here about them being nothing but dental wax. And that some folks used it.

Long story short, there is a paper in with them that says I can use the leavings to make tumble lube with instructions. Has anyone tried this?

I cant see myself ever using the wax sheets to make gas checks. Should I even consider keeping it? Should I offer it up on the forum? Or should I make tumble lube out of it?

I got a message from another member, and decided to pass these checks on to someone that will use them. Mods, please close or delete.
