They are taking over a lot of places including our deer lease. We kill a few and trap some more but they breed faster than we can thin them down. They are good eating!

You're right - while it is "possible" to get a gun license in Japan, it's unreal how many hoops and expense it takes.

    Call in the Samari!
Fact: Some people are alive simply because it's illegal to kill them.

Do they allow air guns in Japan?

Some of the newer generation large bore air guns are down right devestating, to game, and can easily replace a modern firearm.

It seems air guns are regulated about the same as rifles. Here's an interesting read from Japan Times:

Actually, for the general population it's illegal to own/carry a sword. Aren't you glad we don't live in Japan? Aussie land is getting almost as bad.

Bury a 55 gallon barrel on a 45 degree angle, grease the inside and put some spoiled fruit in the bottom. They can't back out. Kill them any way you can and clean em up.

Their non-refrigerated meat storage problem could be mitigated with hunting tourism or a good old capitalism pork industry.

Maybe we can sell them wolves. Wolves shouln't bother people and would wreak havoc on a feral pig population.

We got a surplus of wolf and wolf people in Minnesota we could send over there. Todd/3leg

While we’re at it why not send some cougars and there admirers from California over there too!
