Thanks @toymaker, that’s very interesting. Couple follow up questions.

How/where is the cast bullet marked?
While you don’t actually crimp, do take out the belling, and if so do you rotate the case in that process to ensure uniformity?

BTW, I’m not nearly a good enough shot for this stuff to matter, but I do like to understand it.

Yessir, I am looking for advice,... just sorting out the conflicting advice to get a better feel for what I do.

@double8, we're good. Best of luck with your new brass. Conflicting advice is what the internet does best and it can be hard to tell wheat from chaff at times, especially when the chaff reinforces our pre-conceived notions. As Willie Nelson once remarked, "That's what makes the jukebox play."
