I saw some 125 gr .358 jacketed bullets on sale. I know I size my 9mm boolits to .358, but would these be safe to try in a 9mm?
I don't think they would be, but some others may have better ideas....

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?
I shoot them in 38 super and have no problems.
I shoot 125 grain jacketed hollow points intended for the 257 magnum in a Beretta 92FS the barrel slugs out at .357. If I use .355 dia bullets I get horrible accuracy. Frank
Just loaded 50 .360 125 gr rf's in 9mm.
Slipped right into the brass no bulge, no issues chambering in any of my 9mm guns.
Mold is the Lee .358 125 gr rf traditional lube groove. Alloy is roughly 50% COWW 50% range scrap soft lead with 1% pewter added. My typical rule of thumb is my thumbnail. Scratch makes a shiny spot, but it is hard enough that it does not make a gouge. I'd call them 11 to 12 hardness.
Lubed with BLL and shot over 3 grains of Red Dot.
I had severe keyholing with a Hipoint C9 Pistol and a H&R stub barrel in 9mm, shotgun patterns.
Switching to the large bullets shut both down. Tightened groups to coffee cup or smaller at 20 feet which is about all this shooter can do. I think the gun is capable of better.
My opinion, as long as they plunk you'll do fine with bigger.
Some 9mm's though have tight chambers, and you may need to adjust OAL so that it can drop in all the way freely.
I don't size mine, shoot them as cast.
A smaller bullet .358 will normally start to drop into the case. I tend to cull those.
YMMV. But this is what has worked for me.
I was thinking he ask about jacket bullets not cast. I know some already stated about jacket.I say slug your barrel and see what it will tell you for what to use.

I've seen Berettas that slug .359" and the chamber accepts cartridges so loaded .

I'd say they're worth trying, yes.
