Cheshire Dave, if you haven't heard back from Tom, I believe he'll cut what you need. If not it is nothing size down .323 bullets to .320 if you run them through a 323 die and lube them first. I do it all the time for my 8 X 57 Strover Masuer with a .318 groove dia. as I use the same bullet in a few 8mm's.

This little gem arrived in the mail today so haven't had the chance to use it yet. It's my 1st non-aluminum mold and my 1st mold from Accurate.

Great molds, reasonable turn around time, made in the USA. I got a 140G in .358 for my 9mm. Making them now. The other thing I like about his product is that it is shipped clean without oil on it.

Just ordered another mold from Tom (Aluminum). Just can't say enough about his molds, and his help!

Thanks Sharps4590. I emailed back and forth and emailed him a dimensioned pic of a chamber cast and then changed some dimensions on a print that was close to what I liked. Just ordered the mold a few minutes ago. It's 32-196p in his catalog. Tom gave me an atta boy for the chamber pic and wants to use it as an example to his customers. Think I will do a quick thread on how I did it.

I was thinking of making a type of pry bar to open the sprue plate instead of whacking it with a wooden baton, based on the sprue opening jig in special projects, it would be this shape I___I_____ the first sideways bar would go in front of the plate, and the middle bar would go on the opposite side, right at the handle pivot, then you could just use the leverage to open the plate easily, with no whack-a-mole! there will be some bends in it, but its hard to show you without a drawing, when I do make it I will definitely posst a few pics on here though!

I got an iron 4 cavity from Accurate today. Website said 3 weeks turnaround, got it in 2. I'd been looking for a boolit design for speed loading in my revolvers with a light weight and no sharp, square edges outside the case when seated. 36-125D fit the bill. It took about 20 minutes for the lube on the mold to burn off and figure what temp and casting pace the mold liked. It cast like my H&G molds but felt like a Lyman in my hands. I was using RCBS handles. Since you can choose your boolit diameter with a particular alloy, you don't have to worry about something that won't work.

How do you like casting with 2 different cavities in a 4 cavity mold?

I like it so far. I think it works for me since its for low volume rifle ammo. I've only had two casting sessions with it so far, and the last time I ran a 6 cavity mold for 9mm at the same time so ended up with two decent piles of rifle bullets and 1 large pile of 9mm bullets. Overall I like the brass mold but it does get heavy after a while.

installed one of the sprue plate lever from lee on mine.....the only thing left is finding a handle for it. curiously my local lee distributor tell me lee doesn't offer a sprue plate wood handle in the catalog !! i see many have the wood handle for the sprue plate lever. that would eleminate the need to wack the plate lol.

Tom said the cam lever part of a Lee 6-cav mold will fit in the hole of his sprue plates.

I had one laying around and tried it--overkill but does work as promised
