Any Users of HP Calculators Here?

Awhile back I either asked a question or posted in a thread about HP calculators. Now I can't find it. My search abilities leave much to be desired.

One thing I got out of that was a reference to a HP calculator repair service (https://www.vintagecalculatorrepair.com/index.php). I have sent messages via the website and filled out a repair order and sent it per instructions but have not received any answers. I have called multiple times but only get a message to "don't leave a message but call back".

Does anyone know anything about this company? I gather it is a one man operation.

I have a 48GX and 48G. The 48G won't turn on and it would be wonderful to get it repaired. I use the 48GX almost everyday. It has a couple of chemistry expansion cards in it although I don't do much with chemistry these days.

Could have been. Since then one of my HP's has gotten to the point that it won't turn on. In a Google search I found Vintage Calculator Repair. As I said, it is apparently a one man operation and the one man is somewhat independent. The prices listed for the various HP calculators are not cheap but since these calculators are no longer available the prices may be cheap for some people, me included.

Many moons ago I had my HP41 worked on, by someplace in the south in 2000, I think (hope). Memory is not too good right now as to who/what /where but I'll check my Rolodex (a DOS computer) when I get in and see if I can find who did it and if they are still in business. I'll report back when i know anything.

I haven't had any luck either. I keep calling but all I get is the message not to leave a message but keep calling. For all I know, the man has passed away and his phone is still active and the website will continue until someone shuts it down.

Well, I hit a dead end. I found the information but an interweb search found that the address I had was now a Walgreens and the 1800 number was used by Chinese scammers and the company T.S.A. does not exist. Sorry.
