Who would like a .358 148gr wadcutter smooth side for Hi-Tek?

Would love to have a smooth sided bevel based 148gr wadcutter mold for Hi-Tek coatings. If we get enough people interested maybe we can talk Mihec into a run of them

Do you have a design worked out already? If you would like, I can design up the boolit and run as honcho. Let me know, I don't want to step on any toes...

Wouldn't that just be a straight walled cylinder? Do we get a discount for lack of machining operations?

LOL - and it wouldn't be much fun to cast this boolit. Id imagine the smooth sides would give alot of friction and cause the user to have to size. I can't imagine how much fun it would be to size those shorties...

    Pretty cool idea.
I can’t imagine they would be too hard to size. Especially with a little case lube.

You would want the mold to drop very close to your intended diameter though.

Ok - I'll bite... In order to make a cylinder 148gr and to be Slick-sided, the length can only be 0.55". But if there is interest, I will run it.
