    No, I went the other way, 185 gr gas checked .312 leemented to .314.

    My only experience with sabots was a Lyman 45gr 22 cal. boolit in a sabot in the 30 carbine. I found that sized boolits were slightly more accurate than unsized. I was trying for higher velocity but only gained about 200 fps in the little carbine case.
