    "dipping" my bullets

    tried another method. used M.E.K. solvent to make a thin "Paint" with h.f. red. dipped one at time. racked bottom down. 20 minutes at 300. passed hammer test. looks good,even coating. will load this coming week for test.
    just an attempt to get uniform coating.

    what do you use to hold the boolits as you dip them?

    That is the “Piglett Method”....developed years ago on here long before we all developed the very easy to do BBDT. I thought is was messy and unreliable. Different powders dissolve in different solvents.

    Good luck to you have success using it. My standards are (2) ESPC guns and BBDT.

    when done just put in a container with mek to clean up.
