    Estate find of a lifetime

I bought the estate of a fellow that passed away quite a few years ago. His son had been keeping all of his reloading equipment with intentions of putting it to use, but had to move and didn't want to relocate all of it. I bought the whole lot, it took two trips to get it all using my pickup loaded full in the bed and the cab. It was indeed a find of a lifetime. There were a dozen presses, countless bullet molds of all ages, hand tools, ammo, powder, bullets, books, gun parts, and the list goes on. I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Here is a picture of a few of the presses, three Hollywoods, a Potter Duplex, a C&H, and a Lyman.

At this point, it cost me nothing. I have sold most of the vintage ammo and actually have made more than my initial purchase price. It's all gravy from here! I never knew how much vintage ammo was worth. Luckily I met a dealer that clued me in on it. I sold it on my tables at gun shows and cleaned up.

Wow very nice. If we stick with it long enough good things do happen. In this case it looks like you hit the lotto.

Great find! I guess we'll all pass it along to somebody somewhere one day. I don't have any kids and my brother doesn't either.
Watch the newspaper for a big state-sponsored estate sale when I go! ha ha.
